Getting started

• First match: on the Camelot tab, the campaign's first encounter is marked Start here. Coaching tips explain swearing Oaths, the three fronts, attacking and blocking as you play.
• Loaner decks: every Leader's starter deck can be played straight away, before you own any cards. The Battle tab plays quick matches against the computer.
• The campaign: the Camelot tab. Each Act opens when the one before it is won; story choices are permanent and shape later encounters and the ending.

Packs

• Free packs: the Royal Allowance gives a free pack every 12 hours (up to 3 banked). Campaign encounters, Trials and Pack Seals give more.
• Opening: Packs → choose a Series → spin the ring to pick a pack → Select pack → tear it open. Turn a pack around first to read its contents and odds.
• Odds: each Series' odds are on the Packs screen under "pack contents & odds". Free and bought packs have exactly the same odds, and duplicate protection applies to both.
• Duplicates: copies beyond what a deck can use turn into Renown, which crafts any card or Leader you're missing.

Buying packs

Packs can be bought on the Packs screen under More packs. Everything in them can also be earned by playing. Bought packs join your unopened packs. If a purchase doesn't arrive, tap Restore purchases on the same screen. Crown & Grail is not available in Belgium, the Netherlands, Brazil or China.

Bought packs are tied to your Apple Account: after reinstalling, or on a new device, packs you bought and hadn't received are delivered again automatically, or when you tap Restore purchases. Packs a device has already received belong to that device's collection; with iCloud on, they come back with your iCloud backup when you restore it. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

iCloud backup

With iCloud on, your collection and decks are copied to your own iCloud after every change. When you reinstall the game or start it on a new device, it offers to restore that copy; nothing is replaced unless you choose Restore. You can see the last backup, and restore it, in Settings (the gear on the Camelot tab). The copy follows one device at a time: the most recent one is what iCloud keeps.

Decks

On the Decks tab, choose a Leader and build 40 cards in the Leader's affinities, up to two copies of a card (one of a Legendary). The deck builder suggests cards you own and shows what a deck is missing, with the Renown needed to craft it.

Privacy

Crown & Grail has no account, no ads, no analytics and no server; its iCloud copy lives in your own iCloud. Read the Crown & Grail Privacy Policy.
